

The Legend of Mothman: Point Pleasant, West Virginia, in the late 1960s, the Mothman legend centers around a creature described as a large, humanoid figure with wings, piercing red eyes, and a wingspan of up to ten feet. The creature was first spotted in November 1966 by a group of gravediggers near the abandoned TNT area in Point Pleasant. Subsequent sightings reported similar encounters with this enigmatic being. Over the course of 13 months, numerous witnesses claimed to have encountered the Mothman, often experiencing feelings of dread and foreboding in its presence. Some even believed that it was a harbinger of tragedy.
